Beresheet

So I started a Blog. I didn't want to write anyway. That blank page in my word processor, nagging me--over and over, "Cover me with words! Please cover me with words!" Nasty impersonal beastie! It needs a good thrashing.

My name, in case you missed that portion of the Blog, is Tim Baer. I write Christian science fiction. Not all of it will Bible-thump you. Mostly I just try to write clean, family oriented stories. To date I have published short stories in Messianic Science Fiction (now defunct), Gateway, Stories of Science and Faith (http://www.geocities.com/scifieditor/), the Sword Review (http://www.theswordreview.com/), From the Asylum (http://www.fromtheasylum.com/), Raygun Revival (http://www.raygunrevival.com), and finally in "I Can Hold It In My Grubby Little Paws" print at Farthing Magazine (now defunct). I also designed that spiffy logo for the Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy Writer's Association (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/csfwa/). I still need to add the "& Fantasy" to it.

So where to go from here? Got me. I'll post as I see fit. Maybe we'll post up some really keen science links and my thoughts on recent space discoveries. Maybe I'll toss off a story idea I'm working on. Maybe I'll toss up a writing challenge--that might be swell! See what you can come up with from one of the ideas rattling around in my brain. I promise I won't swipe it--I'm not that kind of writer. I only try to publish my own drivel.

I might even go off on a tangent--like Conspiracy Theories. I've got some beauts! (I am a member of the International Non-Sequitur Society. We don't make a lot of sense, but we sure love pizza!)

Stay tuned.
